After working as an investment banker and then corporate litigator, as well as being a busy mother of three (talk about super mom), Cheryl knew that something had to give. She needed to slow down, be more present, and reconnect to what was truly important: Her family and herself. Everything that she was searching for was found on the cushion—less distraction, deeper acceptance, patience, and so many moments of joy.
Cheryl’s certifications include Mindful Schools Certified Instructor (Mindful Schools Year-Long Teacher Training), Learning to BREATHE and MBSR for Teens, Level I and Level II Meditation Teacher Training with David Nichtern, and Search Inside Yourself – Google’s Mindfulness-Based Leadership training. She is the co-founder of 2bpresent, where she runs and implements mindfulness programs for schools and businesses, as well as leads meditation groups and works with private clients.
